To become aware of what's going on inside your head, when you start replaying the same arguments like when a guy cuts you off on the interstate and you're mad about it, but it's still going through your mind twenty minutes later, or two days later and you're formulating the perfect come backs for him and what you should have said to that guy and what you're going to say the next time. Learn to recognize these thoughts that are bouncing around in your head and they're accomplishing nothing. They're just echos. Tell them to shut up.
