Water and mindfulness; such a great combination. I never realized how much water could help me relax, especially just by going for a walk by the river or going to the lake. Water has an effect that is not easy to describe. Lao Tzu talks a lot about water in the Tao Ta Ching. In case you’re not familiar with it, the Tao Ta Ching is an ancient Chinese text dating back to the 4th century BC. Dr. Wayne Dyer studied it in detail and wrote an essay on each verse of the Tao Ta Ching. He then published it as a book called, Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life. Water helps me relax in a deep, thorough way. The Relax and Breathe Summit reminds me of the soothing, relaxing effect that water has on me. With less stress, I can relax and breathe more deeply.
