Daniel Gutierrez is a consultant, author, and motivational speaker. He was once a high-powered executive who graced the covers of Latin Business, Cypen and Color Magazines, but then Daniel realized that there was more to success than a 7-figure earning potential. Daniel mastered his outer game, but his intuition told him that to feel fulfilled, he must also master his inner game. Because of this, at the height of his career, Daniel left it all behind and dedicated the next chapter of his life to becoming a Master of Mindfulness. During the past 10 years, Daniel has led nearly 30 quests to the heights of the Machu Picchu, the depths of the Amazon and the top of the Himalayas. Now, Daniel has been featured in the documentary Luminous World Views as one of eighteen world-renowned thought leaders and has even appeared as a special guest at Carnegie Hall.

Effect on Emotions
  • Regarding emotions, mindfulness has been a great staple for me because it allows me, like right now, I'm bringing myself back into the present moment. It's okay to feel that, I would say okay to go there, not okay to stay.
Thoughts on Breathing
  • Breathing is important for me because I think it's important when you're in relation with other humans that before you act, you breathe just, that's it.
  • Just breathe and what it does, it takes the charge out of the situation that you're in. It gets you to clear a little bit, to think better. So breathing has definitely been a way for me to manage my life and relationships in a lot better way.
