  • When you take mindfulness and you live in the moment and you think, I'm feeling anxious so how do I get myself out of this anxious feeling, then you try to settle yourself and you sit on the end of your bed and you breathe in and you breathe out you can settle yourself down.
  • I don't really get angry that much. Being in the moment with mindfulness can really help you regulate your emotions just by being calm.
Thoughts On Breathing
  • I know that there are many breathing techniques, but the one I like the most is one that isn't talked about much.
  • For me, I like to listen to music. Music comes to me in regular patterns, and it is built around a structure. When you listen to it, you start to breathe in the cadence of the music.
  • This can help you take your mind off of the issue and start to incorporate your mind into the song.
  • You will start to calm down and start breathing into the music, into the phrases. That really helps me.
Bullying Story
  • I don't really remember being bullied as a kid. That was pretty much because I didn't notice anybody around me when I was younger.
  • I think in any case, with bullying, mindfulness can help a person by helping them realize what is important in the moment. Bullies really have a hard time. They are trying to transfer their hard time onto somebody else.
  • Knowing that, we can have a little bit more compassion towards that person.
