Effect on Emotions
- Mindfulness has made me more patient with my emotions and more understanding of their change in nature and realizing the power in the statement, ‘this too shall pass'.
Thoughts on Breathing
- Breathing is something that I need to work upon. I feel as though that's one of the reasons why I enjoy exercise so much, because exercise is forced breathing.
- That is really enjoyable for me and enlives me. When it comes down to me sitting to do breathing exercises or pranayama, I do anything I can to procrastinate from those things.

Bullying Story
- I grew up in a small town called Stafford. That small town was a predominantly white area and in that time kids could be mean. I suffered from racism and racial attacks and getting into lots of fights and getting jumped on by mobster kids.
- I also grew up with a bad temper so mindfulness could really have helped me to, in those moments, if I had known to come back to the present moment, then I could have probably stopped myself from getting into certain situations and difficulties. I would have been able to understand myself and understand other people more.
